My name is Jennifer, which pretty much is the same name as about 50% of women born in the 1970's. Also like many women my age, I am always trying to do way to much, but feel like I constantly come up short. I work full-time and provide the primary income for my family. I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Jeramy, for fourteen years. He is currently a stay-at-home dad to our two daughters Jillian (4) and Hayden (2). We also recently added a puppy, the ever busy Bizzy, to our family.
As the end of 2012 approached, I began thinking about how I wanted to change my life, and what I would like to accomplish in 2013. That is when this idea struck. Like so many women, I love Pinterest. I love pinning ideas and day dreaming about what it might be like to actually live in such beautiful houses. How wonderful it would feel to be so perfectly organized. How great it might be to be physically fit and wearing such fashionable clothing. How accomplished I would feel if I fed my family healthy balanced meals made from scratch every night while creating intricate homemade crafts to celebrate all of life's moments. How impressive of a mom I would be if I employed all of the ideal parenting techniques.
Alas, I pin and forget.
But in 2013, all of that will be changing. I have come up with a theme for each month and will be endeavoring to not only find the relevant themes but *gasp* actually do some of them. I'm not sure how this adventure will turn out, but I do guarantee that my general ineptitude will likely accommodate some laughs along the way.
